Meet Our Wound Care Providers

Randall Fellman, MD He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed a residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregan. After retiring from the Air Force, he joined South Mississippi Surgeons in 2004 as a wound care physician. Dr. Fellman is board certified in family medicine with additional training in hyperbaric medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Stephen McDavid, DO He received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, and then rose to the rank of full colonel before retiring from Keesler Air Force Base. Dr. McDavid spent five years in private family practice before joining South Mississippi Surgeons in 2008 as a wound care physician. Dr. McDavid is board certified in family medicine, and he is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Shelley Brake, MHS, PA-C She received her physician assistant degree at the University of South Alabama where she completed a Master of Health Science. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has a keen interest in wound care. Shelley joined South Mississippi Surgeons in 2011.

Kimberly Fortier, MHS, PA-C She received her physician assistant degree at the University of South Alabama where she completed a Master of Health Science. She is currently serving as the Southern Representative on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants. Kimberly joined South Mississippi Surgeons in 2007.
