Who can benefit from Rehabilitative Care?

The following guidelines may be used to determine the appropriateness of a patient referral. The Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, on the fourth floor of Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, may be the appropriate place for treatment for those with:

• recent onset or progression of a disability
• physical impairment that limits functional ability
• required assistance of daily living activities and/or use of adaptive equipment
• medical complications, which have caused a dramatic decline in physical functioning
