Behavioral Health Services Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

What It Is

Your employer has made this program available to you and your immediate family members. It provides professional assistance to help with problems affecting your personal lives and work performance. This program is voluntary and confidential.

How It Works

Your employer has arranged for these services to be provided to you by Singing River Health System’s Behavioral Health Services. This program is offered at several locations, including Pascagoula, Ocean Springs, and Lucedale. Your EAP employs professionals who specialize in a variety of areas to provide assistance with a wide range of issues, including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Substance Abuse
  • Family Difficulties
  • Financial Problems
  • Child/Adolescent Issues
  • Crisis Situations

How To Get Started

You may access your EAP services in the following ways:

  • Self-referral – An employee may contact the EAP directly about a personal difficulty or family problem.
  • Family referral – An immediate family member of an employee may contact the EAP directly about a personal difficulty or family problem.
  • Supervisor referral – A supervisor may contact the EAP about an employee. The supervisor and the employee together would set up an appointment for the employee.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is assured. The employee/family member’s problem will be discussed only between the employee/family member and the EAP staff member. Neither your employer nor your co-workers will have any knowledge of your request for help. Even in the event of a referral related to a personnel action, no information will be released to your employer without your express written consent.

Contact

Please give your name, the name of your employer, and the reason for your request. An appointment will be set up for you or your family member as soon as possible.
