Connectivity Options for Independent Physician Practices

In further pursuit of our mission to provide world class health care and wellness services, SRHS will partner with the health care providers (physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners) in our community to improve patient care through better connectivity among the providers taking care of our patients.  This will enhance the patient experience in the following ways:

• There will be greater connectivity to patient clinical information.
• Lab and radiology results will be automatically available in the patient record.
• Singing River Health System Epic patient records will be readily accessible – reducing the need to duplicate a patient’s medical history and testing.
• E-Prescribing functionality will increase efficiency and meet the criteria for financial incentives for meaningful use.
• Registration, clinical documentation and billing will be seamlessly integrated.
• Generally, charges will be captured during clinical documentation – reducing manual recordkeeping.
