SRHS is preparing for health care reform, but in order to best prepare for the changes to come the implementation of an electronic health record is moving forward with a big-bang go-live set for 07.01.2012.

Epic is an advanced electronic health record which connects caregivers, patients and clinicians. It improves processes and work design as well as quality of care delivered.  Epic improves patient and caregiver satisfaction and enables excellent clinical and operational performance. Epic will facilitate patients, families and caregivers satisfaction making SRHS their place of choice to receive health care services because of the enhanced patient experience.

We're doing this because we know better quality care is achieved through best practices, consistency, and careful patient management. The Epic tools will allow enhanced ability to target areas for improvement including better communication with each other and with our patients.
